Oranda Goldfish

An Oranda is a fancy goldfish species that have hood like raspberries in appearance encasing its head. Only the eyes and the mouth of the Oranda is not wrapped by this hood or headgrowth.

About Oranda

Oranda is a popular goldfish type because the hood on his head makes this fish is different. Oranda hood or Headgrowth take 1 to 2 years to begin and develop. Headgrowth oranda must always be attention because prone to the bacteria. Oranda has a metallic or matte scales similar to veiltail. Oranda body is large, length and in accompanied by a long quadruple tail.

Orandas available in various colors, which is popular orange, red, red and white, red and black, black, blue, brown, bronze, white or silver, black and white (panda-colored), red-black-white (tricolor) , and the calico colors. Oranda can grow to about 8-12 inches or 20-31 cm. Because Oranda more sensitive with cold temperature then the temperature should be between 65-80°F / 17-28Âșc.
